I was able to download the 3.0.1 patch from Steam the day it came out in just a few minutes. Not to say it necessarily fixed every conceivable problem, but it did address some important issues. Are you using Steam Client or the Army Deploy Client? In either case, you need to make sure you have shut the client in question down completely and restarted. If you aren't sure how to do that, best bet is just to restart your machine. If you've done that and are still having issues, my only suggestion would be to check out the AA Support groups either on the America's Army Forums or on irc.americasarmy.com #americasarmy Hope this helps.
